In making my version I was left with puddles of distress ink on my craft sheet. Following the directions of the challenge "to just add water" I created this birthday card. However, I must admit that because I am on rations of watercolour paper, I attached the front panel to regular cardstock instead of wasting of what could be another card front. This move may disqualify me from the challenge, but oh well I still had fun making both cards.

Hello,Jennifer! Your water-coloring cards are absolutely beautiful! You are SO NOT disqualified for not using water-coloring paper. On the contrary, I love the fact that you used a non-water-color product and achieved such a gorgeous result! I love the ink splatter on the card ( right )! ReplyDeleteI'm not sure Virginia understood what you meant, Jennifer, but I agree. I did the same thing, adding my watercolor panel to a card base. Some people still consider this a one layer card and that was not a requirement for Virginia's challenge. I love both your cards btw. I love blotting up the unused color on my sheet. It makes such interesting cards.
